Donor Egg Program - Become an Egg DonorFrequently we see patients who have undergone premature menopause, survived cancer therapy, carry genetic diseases, or who, because of the normal diminished reproductive efficiency associated with advancing maternal age, cannot produce eggs likely to result in a successful pregnancy. As an egg donor you have the opportunity to fill the painful void that these conditions create in the lives of these patients. To be an egg donor you must:
We will perform a physical exam, obtain blood tests for sexually transmitted diseases, administer an MMPI (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory), and you will meet our third party reproductive counselor. With the above screening procedures completed, you will be added to our donor list. A non-identifying profile of you will be available for matching with prospective recipients. Once you are matched you will begin the ovarian stimulation process leading up to the egg retrieval. The current reimbursement for one cycle of egg donation is $4000. Egg donors are able to donate once or up to six times. If you are interestedIf you are interested in becoming an egg donor, please fill out and submit our online questionnaire. Subsequently, you will be contacted by our healthcare team. If you need further information, please contact our donor egg coordinator by phone at 612-863-5390 or email. Thank you for considering giving this unique gift. |
